You may be going down a road with many different outcomes, unsure which path to take and what you have a focused interest in. This happened to me where I wasn’t sure if I wanted to be a Network Administrator, An accounts Administrator, a Microsoft Power Platform Developer or even a Web Developer.
What I did know was that I needed a base understanding of these to fully secure my intentions. Microsoft helped me greatly with this and their Virtual Training Days.
There are many great thing about these Microsoft Training Days but firstly, they are not actually full days that may seem overwhelming. Some of the ‘days’ are three hour sessions you can easily add to a working day or around other school work. They also compliment the documentation Microsoft created and have on their Microsoft Learn Website.
Another benefit of the Microsoft Virtual Training Days is the opportunity to sit a discounted exam on completion of selected training days and gain a Microsoft Certification. The majority of these are Microsoft Fundamentals certifications and although I’ve gone down the Power Platform Developer route, all of them combined have been of great use for a broader understanding of how everything comes together in a Microsoft Enterprise. There is however the single opportunity to gain an Associate level certification for Managing Microsoft Teams (Teams Administrator Associate). I will explain more about levels of Microsoft Certifications in a future post… Watch this space!
