So, this is my first post and one of the first questions I had when I started on my Power Platform journey a few years ago. Working within a section of Information Management staff primarily on SharePoint but lost with how I can expand my skill set.
The first thing I did was head to YouTube! and yes, YouTube is a great source of knowledge but I found I was shown videos of how to complete specific tasks rather than using a Microsoft product. I have set up a YouTube channel where I aim to upload helpful quick win videos. I also encourage anyone to contact me via this website or on YouTube and I will be happy to create a video to help solve your problem in the Power Platform.
I eventually found the YouTube Channel for April Dunnam, a Microsoft employee with a great outlet of information on the Power Platform. Her advice and one I endorse is to check out the Microsoft Learn Web Site and see what it is you want to learn and become proficient at.
Hopefully with the right sense of guidance and a focussed attitude you can get to where you want to be in a short space of time.
Once you’ve gained an understanding of where you want to head, you have that clarity to move forward.
